Exotic
Lip Gloss
Makes 1/2 ounce :
- 1
teaspoon grated cocoa butter
- 1
teaspoon coconut oil
- 1
teaspoon macadamia nut oil
- 1
teaspoon light sesame oil
- 1/8
teaspoon vitamin E oil
Place all of the ingredients in an ovenproof contain
and heat the mixture in the microwave or in a hot, but not boiling,
water bath until the cocoa butter and coconut oil are melted. Stir
the mixture well and pour into a small clean container. Allow the
mixture to cool completely. Store in a cool dry place.
Egg
Cream Lotion
Makes 8 ounces :
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/4
cup light oil (canola or almond)
- 1
tablespoons rum
- 1/2
cup heavy cream
In a blender, mix together the egg yolks, cream,
and rum until well blended. With the blender running, slowly, add
the oil in a thin stream until well combined. Pour the creamy lotion
into a clean container and store in the refrigerator.-
Cocoa
Cream
Makes 3 ounces :
- 2
tablespoons grated cocoa butter
- 2
tablespoons castor oil
- 2
tablespoons vodka
Mix together the cocoa butter and castor oil,
and heat gently to melt the cocoa butter. This can be done in
the microwave or in a warm bath. Add the vodka and stir well.
Allow the mixture to cool completely and stir once more to blend
the lotion.
